Appears in the issue.

Hospitals, libraries, museums, theaters, and other locations that require quiet electronic locks have new choices: the quiet electronic latch (QEL) option for the Von Duprin 98/99 and 33a/35a series exit devices from Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies of Carmel, Indiana. The intelligent solution features easy installation, self-calibration, onboard diagnostics, and vandal detection and response. The QEL provides electronic unlatching of exit devices for continuous push-pull operation and access control. It can be activated through a building automation system, access control system, or an operator. The option is available in a wide choice of finishes and trims.
