Samsung Techwin America of Ridgefield Park, New Jersey, has introduced the iPOLiS Mobile application for remote video viewing of its iPOLiS network video cameras and digital video recorders (DVRs) using either the iPhone or Android mobile platform. The application also allows users to control basic pan-tilt-zoom functions. DVRs that are compatible with the new mobile application are the SRD-470D (four-channel), SRD-850DC and SRD-870DC (eight-channel); and SRD-1650DC and SRD-1670DC (16-channel) units running version 1.06 firmware.
