Secure Iris Cameras

IriTech Inc. of Fairfax, Virginia, has improved its line of IriCAMM iris acquisition cameras by adding powerful security features. Device-level encryption enables the cameras to encrypt images and templates after capture, ensuring security of the data at the point of origin. Device identification supplies a digital signature for each camera to support accountability and system management. The digital signature enables throughput analysis, operator performance tracking, and equipment trouble­shooting, in addition to facilitating detection of fraudulent activity. Administrative certificates prevent third parties from tampering with enrollment data. Cameras are available in single-eye and dual-eye configurations with a choice of fixed or automatic focus.
