Surveillance Cameras

Appears in the issue.

Basler Vision Technologies of Ahrensburg, Germany, has introduced a new generation of extremely light-sensitive IP cameras with CCD sensors. They provide frame rates up to 100 frames per second. The company is also offering IP Fixed Dome Cameras that are energy efficient and can run, including the fan and heater, on power over Ethernet. The cameras have a microSDHC card slot, allowing the camera to become a self-sufficient system by writing all alarm images to an SD card. With vandal-resistant housings, the domes support video surveillance in extreme temperatures, from –35 degrees to +50 degrees Celsius.
