Sanyo Security Systems of Chatsworth, California, has introduced a new high-speed serial protocol system controller. The VSP-8500 enables centralized control of up to 256 units, simplifying the operation of small to medium security systems. Equipped with a three-axis (pan-tilt-zoom) joystick for telemetry control, it also has direct keys for camera and digital video recorder control. It works with existing cameras and recording devices. Its convenient four-line backlit LCD menu display offers six language configurations (English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Japanese). It supports multiple products for legacy operations.
