Tailgate Detection

Designed Security, Inc., of Bastrop, Texas, has introduced the Entry Sentry tailgate detection system. Its proprietary sensing technology and 1/4 -inch tailgate detection ensure that only one person enters an area for each valid authorization. It mounts easily on standard doorframes and hallway walls. It is field-configurable for card-in/card-out or card-in/free-exit operation. An integrated lock control relay helps provide faster throughput, while an alarm notifies security when the door is propped open.
