Two-Door Access Control

The DirecDoor controller from GE Security, Inc., of Bradenton, Florida, provides an easy-to-install, cost-effective solution for extending and increasing the flexibility of existing access-controlled networks. The two-reader, two-door, power-over-Ethernet access controller is deployed at the door location with full controller intelligence. Because it is installed on the protected side of the door, the controller is more secure than conventional IP readers, which often expose network connections, door strike relays, and databases outside the protected space.
