PureTech Systems Inc. of Phoe­nix, Arizona, has integrated its PureActiv wide-area surveillance solution with the MIC Series 550 PTZ Camera from Bosch Security Systems of Fairport, New York. The integration allows the user to operate the camera from a map-based user interface. The operator clicks on the map or draws a rectangle on the area of interest to point the camera to a precise location. The PureTech PTZ Auto Follow feature directs the camera to follow a target automatically without any user interaction. Video analytics also enable the system to automatically steer cameras to the location of an intrusion detected by radar, intelligent fence, or fixed camera.
