The Falcon series of integrated camera management servers provide high performance video management and RAID-protected storage in one system. DNF Security, a business unit of Dynamic Network Factory, of Hayward, California, is offering 11 new models, with capacities ranging from 2 terabytes to 40 terabytes. All feature redundant, hot-swap components and comprehensive RAID protection. Each can create near- and long-term video archives for periods ranging from one day to six months. The servers support more than 1,900 frames per second. Each system has been graded with the company’s Continuous Aggregated Video Stream (CAVS) index to measure performance in rigorous surveillance environments, making it easier to choose the right system for the application. Appliances are designed to maximize uptime through built-in features including split video recording, clustering, load balancing, and patented storage virtualization technology.
