The new re_porter-IP/SE from Geutebruck of Windhagen, Germany, is an entry-level solution for pure digital video surveillance systems. It supports up to 20 IP cameras and multiple video sources, including M-JPEG, MPEG4 CCTV, H.264 CCTV, and H.264 formats. The unit can process and store the data, reducing loads on networks. The new hardware allows direct connection of up to 16 contacts for event-controlled recording. It also has eight relay outputs for direct communication with third-party systems.
