BriefCam, Ltd., of Neve Ilan, Israel, has launched a new version of its Video Synopsis solution for rapid review, analysis, and indexing of video. The Video Synopsis technology enables users to summarize hours of events into a “brief” that takes minutes to review, with each event indexed to the original video. New BriefCam VS Enterprise supports two channel types. BriefCam Live provides immediate synopsis for critical or frequently viewed cameras and BriefCam On-Demand provides deferred synopsis availability for in-depth investigation, offering cost-effective coverage for less-critical cameras. The Area of Interest function now supports multiple nonrectangular shapes, and a new Area of Exclusion shortens runtime.
