Video software

Version 8.0 of the PureActiv Wide Area Surveillance software has been released by PureTech Systems Inc. of Phoenix, Arizona. It offers command and control, video analytics, and map-based intrusion awareness, plus improved GIS tracking for both land and water, object classification, new behaviors, and enhanced network video recording features. The new object classification feature analyzes objects within a scene and classifies them into groups, such as cars, trucks, and humans. The objects are displayed as icons on a map at their locations. The system has a database of predefined objects, and it can learn new objects.
