On-Net Surveillance Systems, Inc., of Suffern, New York, has released NetDVR 6.0, the newest version of its single-server network video recorder and camera management platform. The new version extends the reach and capabilities of the platform with an extensive line of video clients and add-ons. Included are the NetGuard-EVS 4.0 advanced video client with multiple monitor support and display of 64 cameras per monitor, the NetGuard client for brower-based remote monitoring, and the NetPDA and NetCell portable clients. It also includes intelligent viewing and automatic or peer-to-peer push live video via the NetMatrix Intelligent Viewing component, which is now bundled with the software. Other new features include improved management, enhanced audio support, and investigation tools.
