Visitor Management

Appears in the issue.

EasyLobby, Inc., of Needham, Massachusetts, has updated its flagship secure visitor management (SVM) system to include support for fingerprint capture and matching. EasyLobby SVM 9.0 electronically reads a visitor’s driver’s license, passport, or business card and captures all relevant information in a SQL Server or Oracle database, along with the name of the person being visited, the reason for the visit, entry and exit times, a photo, a signature, and a fingerprint. In 20 seconds or less, the visitor is checked in and a color ID badge is printed. The one-to-many fingerprint matching technology allows users to quickly enroll visitors on their first visit; on subsequent visits, a simple fingerprint read will bring up their records faster than a license scan or name lookup can.
