Wireless Access

Appears in the issue.

CORBIN RUSSWIN of Berlin, Connecticut, has introduced the Access 700 PWI1, a Wi-Fi-enabled lockset that allows campuses to establish online access control via existing Wi-Fi networks—eliminating the need for a proprietary wireless network or physical wiring. The lock communicates with the host server or access control panel as often as specified. User access can be controlled locally, and access events are transmitted to the host system. It operates on ASSA ABLOY PERSONA Campus software or approved third-party software for database integration and interfacing with enterprise, transactional, and housing systems. The lockset is available in keypad and magnetic stripe and magnetic stripe-only versions. The battery-operated lock features a card reader, door-position switch, and request-to-exit sensor and is available in mortise lock, cylindrical lock, and exit device configurations.
