IP Surveillance Cameras Can Be Hacked

Via CNET, a group of security researchers discovered surveillance cameras that stream their images over an IP address can be hacked into and then used to attack the network operating behind the camera.

According to CNET:

[The researchers showed] how code entered through an ordinary Web browser, a cross-site scripting attack, can manipulate or even replace the streaming video content with something else.
