John Honovich, of IP Market Video, posted a video on YouTube Wednesday revieiwing the Security Management digital edition. The video supplements a blog entry reviewing the magazine. Honovich leads IP Market Video's team of engineers who are "dedicated to delivering independent, critical information about the security and surviellance industry."
"The May 2012 digital version of Security Management raises the bar for security trade magazines by delivering depth beyond flat digitizing of paper copies. The additional content and features of this version distingush the publication from other digital trade magazines, and the expanded format lends itself to more informative vendor advertisements and editorial commentary," he wrote.
In our first digital edition Associate Editor Laura Spadanuta explores high-rise evacuations. Associate Editor Ann Longmore-Etheridge reports on recommendations from the DHS Advisory Council’s Southwest Border Task Force Report. Technofile Editor John Wagley reviews the pitfalls of allowing employees to use their own devices. And Homeland Security Editor Matthew Harwood presents a multimedia update on the use of self-propelled semi-submersibles in drug trafficking.
ASIS members have received an e-mail with a link to the members-only premium edition, which will be available online for one year. A public version of the magazine will be available for the month of May.
Security Management will be back in its familiar print form in June.
