Jane's Releases Terrorism Map

Businesses and organizations with investments or employees in dangerous regions may be interested in a new terrorism mapping technology from Jane's Information Group.

According to the company:

[The Terrorism and Insurgency Centre Events Map] provides up-to-the-minute interactive visual mapping of terrorist groups and events in order to reveal worldwide geographic patterns and trends.

Jane's says the map will have up-to-the-minute accuracy. The map is Jane's latest addition to its Terrorism and Insurgency Center, which the company says provides subscribers with "the most comprehensive and authoritative source for the latest global terrorism-related news, analysis, reference and overview of worldwide terrorist activities as they happen."

By taking such a global perspective on terrorism, the company says, the center can "assess the risks affecting any country or organisation’s economic or strategic interests as required."
