Turkey Says Significant Bombing Averted

On the anniversary of September 11, country forces everywhere are on high alert--and with good reason. The BBC reports that "Sniffer dogs detected a van stuffed with explosives in the centre of [Ankara, in a multi-storey garage], preventing a 'possible catastrophe,' Governor Kemal Onal said."

They attribute the find to good police work.
