MAXPRO NVR Professional Edition is the latest addition to the MAXPRO line of technology from Honeywell of Louis­ville, Kentucky. It can help organizations comply with the stringent regulations that require them to retain video for longer time periods and protect surveillance data more effectively. Its ability to comply with open standards such as ONVIF and PSIA means it can accommodate IP cameras from mul­tiple vendors and allow users to easily add cameras to their systems as needs arise. The recorder offers 32 channels (the company expects to release a 64-channel model soon) and offers up to 20 terabytes of storage and redundant storage options.
