The new HubWay22 device from Altronix Corporation of Brooklyn, New York, provides centralized UTP video, RS-422/RS-S485 data, and distributed camera power over a single CAT-5 or higher cable for distances up to 1,000 feet. It also has built-in passive video baluns for consolidation and breakout of the video, data, and power. It handles up to eight cameras and offers 24-VAC or 28-VAC selectable outputs to accommodate voltage drops without an external power source. An illuminated master power disconnect circuit breaker with manual reset and individual power LED indicators protects the design. It is enclosed in a modular 19-inch rack-mount chassis, and has removable terminal blocks with locking screw flanges for easy maintenance.
