Bosch Security Systems, Inc., of Fairport, New York, has released a new AutoDome camera module that offers 36x optical zoom and 12x digital zoom along with digital image stabilization technology. The module is available for the AutoDome Modular 300 and 500i Series. The modular camera system employs a platform of fully interchangeable components to allow users to migrate to advanced functionality without replacing the entire system. The camera also incorporates backlight compensation technology for clear image reproduction even in high-contrast environments. The image stabilization algorithms eliminate camera shake in both the vertical and horizontal axes for sharper images, especially during maximum zoom.
