The semi-concealed 1562 Hi/Shear magnetic lock from Security Door Controls of Westlake Village, California, incorporates the company’s mortise shear lock and a surface-mount armature bracket and offers 2,000 pounds of holding force. The bracket assembly mounts to the secure side of a glass, hollow metal, or wood door, eliminating the potential for tampering. The lock features a 12/24 VDC voltage-sensing input, door static and alignment sensor, lateral and vertical alignment adjustment, and a floating armature. Door and magnetic bond sensors are optional. The lock is BHMA certified for ANSI compliance and is UL listed for use on fire-rated doors. It is also UL 10C positive pressure compliant.
