Fargo Electronics, Inc., of Minneapolis, Minnesota, offers a monochrome version of its Persona C30 card printer for economically printing plastic cards with single-color text, graphics, photos, and bar codes. The Persona M30 produces sharp printing in applications where monochrome cards or preprinted cards with monochrome variable text are needed. Its easy-loading, all-in-one ribbon cartridge is available in seven colors (black, green, blue, red, white, silver, and gold). A card-cleaning roller is integrated into the cartridge, so the roller is automatically changed along with the ribbon. An optional magnetic stripe-encoding module is available. The printer carries a two-year warranty.
