The DV-IP Decoder from Dedicated Micros, Inc., of Chantilly, Virginia, is designed to improve image management in a control center environment. It offers the capability to view live video from the DV-IP Server, DV-IP ATM, New DS2, and TransVu and it is an integral component of the company’s Pick-a-Point video matrix solution. Each decoder supports five CCTV monitors for viewing video and audio from multiple sites. The decoder converts video streams into composite NTSC video for direct connection to a traditional monitor and can provide increased update rates for dial-in or low-bandwidth users.
