Bosch Security Systems, Inc., of Fairport, New York, has released version 2.0 of its Intelligent Video Motion Detection, which sets new standards for reliable detection both indoors and outdoors. It uses advanced video content analysis to detect moving objects while suppressing false alarms. Its algorithm adapts to changing lighting and environmental conditions such as rain, snow, and blowing leaves. It offers an embedded analysis capability that runs directly on selected video encoders and IP cameras, eliminating the need for costly servers, frame-grabber cards, and video management software. It can be configured to detect only the important moving objects by selecting the required sensitive areas of an image, minimum object size, and motion direction that will trigger alarms. www.boschsecurity.us [1]
