Designed to address government security needs, the Model 2937 Mechanical Safe Lock from Sargent and Greenleaf of Nicholasville, Kentucky, successfully meets U.S. Federal Specification FF-L-2937, so it can be used to secure field safes, weapon containers, and weapon vault doors. The lock features rugged construction, advanced security, ease of use, and ease of installation. The stainless steel bolt offers 600 pounds of force resistance, and its three-wheel construction enhances durability. Its Spy-Proof Dial restricts the dial’s viewing area, making it extremely difficult for anyone other than the operator to see what numbers are dialed. The lock uses the industry standard for case size and mounting screw location, minimizing installation time and costs.
