Security Door Controls of Westlake Village, California, has updated its EMLock design to include interchangeable modular assemblies that permit field upgrades of all components without removing the lock from the frame. Field-upgrade modules include a timer, magnetic-bond sensor, door-status sensor, antitamper switch, holding-force upgrade, and energy-saver upgrade. Any component can be upgraded or replaced in five minutes. Distributors can stock standard and special-finish locks and add options as needed, eliminating the need for special orders. The locks are also backed by the EMLock lifetime warranty.
