SimplexGrinnell of Westminster, Massachusetts, has added a carbon monoxide (CO) detection kit to its portfolio of life-safety solutions. The kit enables the company’s fire alarm systems to detect excessive levels of poisonous CO and warn building occupants of the condition. The kit includes a UL-listed CO detector and a UL-listed Simplex supervised individual addressable module that can be connected to a fire alarm panel. CO alarm conditions can also be reported to a central station monitoring center or via the Internet to off-site managers.
