Digitize, Inc., of Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey, has introduced a 16-zone transmitter to its telegraph transmitter line. The DET-16 can read the current flow and direction of the 100-milliampere municipal loop. Users customize operation via a standard keypad and LCD display, and customization can also be achieved through a USB port and a user’s computer. The unit also includes a tap key to manually operate the code relay, a shunt key switch that quickly shunts the panel on the municipal loop, a standby testing mode to test the panel setup without coding on the municipal loop, and removable connector headers for easy installation.
