New FireSwitch Power Distribution Modules from Altronix of Brooklyn, New York, are designed for use with access control locking devices. They incorporate an FACP interface to unlock doors and enable emergency egress when fire alarms are activated. Three fused models include the FireSwitch D4 (four channels), FireSwitch D8 (eight channels), and FireSwitch D16 (16 channels). The units convert a single low-voltage AC or DC input into multiple fuse-protected outputs routing power to the locking devices. The modules route and distribute up to 28 VAC or 28 VDC at 10 amps supplied current. Also available are FireSwitch D4D, D8D, and D16D Power Distribution Modules with resettable PTC protected outputs.
