Houston-based ASI Group has released a new version of World Watch, its database of real-time information for countries and cities around the world. Version 6.0 includes a database that allows users to search events by date, country, category, and key words. Users can build and print their own briefs based on the topics they choose from the system, and, through an alliance with Air Routing International, users also can access general airport and weather information. The content has been reorganized to offer more-critical information up front, with refined analysis capabilities and a user-friendly format. Available information includes country and city profiles, threat-level ratings, travel and cultural data, business information and demographics, local restrictions and regulations, transportation concerns, and medical facts.
