The new WJ-RT416V Digital Video Recorder from Panasonic Security Systems of Secaucus, New Jersey, features a built-in DVD burner for easy archiving and transfer of recorded data. The recorder offers high performance and cost efficiency with real-time MPEG-4 recording of 16 cameras using eight built-in dual-core encoder digital signal processors to deliver 480 images per second at full-field resolution with 704 x 240 pixels.

The recorder offers high performance and cost efficiency with real-time MPEG-4 recording of 16 cameras using eight built-in dual-core encoder digital signal processors to deliver 480 images per second at full-field resolution with 704 x 240 pixels. The unit offers storage capacity of up to 2.5 terabytes. It also provides up-the-coax pan-tilt-zoom camera support and is IP-ready with the included NetClient software.
