New from Samsung 360 of Melville, New York, is the SIR-4150N high-resolution day/night IR LED bullet camera, which produces 520 TV lines in color and 570 TV lines in black-and-white. With a weather rating of IP 65, the camera can be used both indoors and outdoors. An ICR filter provides day/night switchover, and the camera needs just 0.3 lux for color and .002 lux for black-and-white operation. With infrared LEDs, it can provide surveillance even in total darkness. Proprietary noise reduction further increases picture quality by eliminating noise in low light. A 3.8 to 9.5 millimeter varifocal lens allows installers to adjust the field of view to suit each scene. Motion detection and four-zone privacy masking are also provided.
