Wheatland Tube Company of Collingswood, New Jersey, has introduced a high-strength, high-security HS-83K fence framework, which is designed to provide greater stability from wind loads and to address perimeter-security concerns in high-risk areas. The galvanized pipe product is made with high-strength steel that produces a post 2.76 times stronger than Regular Grade ASTM F1083-06 schedule 40 pipe. It is listed in the ASTM F 1083 standard as High Strength 83000 Grade. The posts can accommodate a greater variety of anti-intrusion, anticlimb fabrics at greater heights without compromising strength. The design size and spacing of the posts results in cost savings in labor and materials.
