Vicon Industries Inc. of Hauppauge, New York, has added new models to its Roughneck V910 line of impact-resistant camera domes. Three new IP models offer power-over-Ethernet, eliminating the need for a separate power supply. They are available with an integral high-resolution color camera, a day/night camera, or a camera with wide dynamic range.


Vicon Industries Inc. of Hauppauge, New York, has added new models to its Roughneck V910 line of impact-resistant camera domes. Three new IP models offer power-over-Ethernet, eliminating the need for a separate power supply. They are available with an integral high-resolution color camera, a day/night camera, or a camera with wide dynamic range. A new analog model also offers wide dynamic range for the best image in contrasting light. Equipped with a 3.3- to 12-millimeter lens, the camera accepts 24 VAC and includes an isolated power input. These cameras are designed to handle tough environments, including correctional facilities, warehouses, and loading docks. All models are compatible with ViconNet version 3 or 4 digital video management software.
