CyberLock electronic cylinders from Videx of Corvallis, Oregon, can convert mechanical lock hardware to an electronic access control system for pharmaceutical cabinets.

CyberLock electronic cylinders from Videx of Corvallis, Oregon, can convert mechanical lock hardware to an electronic access control system for pharmaceutical cabinets. Users simply replace the mechanical cylinders inside the existing locks with electronic cylinders; no structural modifications or wiring are required. The system includes the electronic cylinder that cannot be picked and the electronic key that cannot be duplicated. An administrator can track access to sensitive areas because both the electronic lock and the key store a record of opening and denied entries. Each user’s key can be programmed to access selected locks only on specific days and times. A lost key can be quickly blocked from the system, making it inactive.
