Sanyo Security Systems of Chatsworth, California, has released its Video Pilot Network Video Management and Recording Solution. The software-driven, PC-based control solution provides comprehensive control over IP-based video surveillance systems and offers open architecture for control of the company’s Pan Focus IP cameras and embedded DVRs, as well as most of the industry’s IP cameras, video servers, and recorders. The easy-to-operate graphical user interface has file tree architecture, multiscreen configurations, drag-and-drop camera placement, and a tool bar for frequently used functions. The system includes digital motion detection and digital zoom with pan-tilt-zoom control of both network and analog cameras. It also offers easy control of recording functions and real-time playback, with direct access to archives.
