ASSA ABLOY Door Security Solutions of New Haven, Connecticut, has introduced a new exit device that is an improved physical barrier over standard rim latchbolts. The Yale 7150 SquareBolt Exit Device with Lumi-Lite also includes a photoluminescent touchpad for better life-safety functions, giving building occupants an illuminated guide to the emergency exit. The exit device locks into place and remains engaged. Credit cards, crowbars, and door shaking are resisted, reducing the threat of unauthorized entry.
