Case Information Media Management from Sanyo Security Systems, of Chatsworth, California, is a software application and hardware platform that allows users to build comprehensive case files consisting of video, audio, digital photos, and digital documents. Video clips can be imported directly from any DSR-M810 DVR connected to the investigation network, while audio files can be imported from handheld digital recording devices. Digital photos in any standard format can be imported, along with documents including scans, faxes, and e-mails. Information is easy to organize and control, with user-defined parameters. Images can be exported to DVD media for playback on any consumer DVD player, and still images can be exported in BMP or JPEG format. Custom captions can be added anywhere on the screen. The software was developed by CAMACC Systems, Inc., of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
