IDenticard Systems of Lititz, Pennsylvania, has introduced the PremiSys access control system, which can accommodate facilities of every size. It offers dynamic mapping to monitor alarms, relays, doors, and alarm acknowledgements through a floor plan/graphic map interface. The antipassback system prevents reusing cards to access the same area within a specified period of time, or until the card has been used to exit the area. To comply with ADA rules, it allows extended door time for cardholders with disabilities who require it. The system draws on the expressionsID cardholder database for card design and badgemaking. Ready-to-use screen designs can be modified easily using convenient drag-and-drop controls, and users can print a badge directly from the data entry screen.
