On-Net Surveillance Systems Inc. of Suffern, New York, has launched version 6.0 of its ProSight SMB IP video surveillance platform for small and medium businesses. It comes bundled with the company’s NetGuard-EVS video client, which enables remote monitoring, after-the-fact investigation assisted by digital pan-tilt-zoom into recorded images and access to motion-detection events, and the export of evidence.

It comes bundled with the company’s NetGuard-EVS video client, which enables remote monitoring, after-the-fact investigation assisted by digital pan-tilt-zoom into recorded images and access to motion-detection events, and the export of evidence. Users can also access video over the Web or LAN via the video client. Available in four- six-, nine-, 16-, and 25-camera single-server license packages, the platform also enables operation as a background Windows service, separating video management and monitoring functions and assuring the integrity of video data. It provides universal camera and video encoder support.
