On-Net Surveillance Systems Inc. of Suffern, New York, has introduced a new platform for IP video control. Ocularis is ideal for managing large applications. The intuitive human interface controls a suite of enhanced applications on a single platform, allowing security professionals to identify incidents, notify and inform the appropriate personnel, and efficiently manage actions to be taken. The platform records all cameras for archival use and employs advanced analytics to detect and filter events. Fewer people are required to monitor live activity, and bandwidth utilization is reduced. Software applications include virtual matrix and monitoring systems, network video recording and camera management, graphical user interface with touchscreen map-driven navigation, monitoring and control interface using a standard Internet browser, portable client for remote camera management, and content analytics modules for automated detection and policy-driven event analysis.
