The new i-Pro WJ-ND400 NVR Series network video recorder from Panasonic Security Systems of Secaucus, New Jersey, can record video from up to 64 network cameras simultaneously. It offers multiformat recording in MPEG-4 and JPEG to deliver recording performance that supports high-resolution IP cameras. It offers metadata-associated VMD for fast searching, as well as 2X and 4X digital zoom on live and recorded video. The recorder can also control pan-tilt-zoom cameras. Nine one-terabyte hot-plug hard disk drives can be installed for maximum storage. Up to 16 clients can monitor and control the recorder simultaneously, and eight recording programs can be set for each camera. Other features include multiple display modes and flexible playback controls.
