The Profile Series v.S2 products from SARGENT Manufacturing of New Haven, Connecticut, integrate wireless technology, a proximity reader, optional keypad, and monitoring capabilities at the door. The door controls work with any open-architecture access control system, providing centrally managed control without the costs, labor, and infrastructure upgrades associated with hard-wired systems. Products use ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 hardware, HID-compatible 125 kHz proximity readers, and sensors that monitor door position and request-to-exit activity. All lockset communications are via open standard 802.11 b/g WiFi infrastructure. Power is supplied by off-the-shelf batteries.
