The new Intensifier dome camera from Speco Technologies of Amityville, New York, sees color in the dark without the use of infrared LEDs. It can capture clear images of objects both inches away and far in the distance. The focus-free technology simplifies installation, because installers don’t need to return for fine-tuning of the focus. The HT7248FFi Focus Free Intensifier camera includes a snap-on cover that converts the housing from standard dark gray to white. The camera provides 540 lines of color resolution and is tamperproof and weatherproof. The 3- to 10-millimeter auto-iris varifocal lens offers a wider zoom to fit more applications.
