Pelco of Clovis, California, has introduced new functionality to digital video recording with the DVR5100 Version 1.5 Hybrid Video Recorder. The latest free software upgrades include many new features including high-performance and real-time recording on an embedded, hybrid DVR. New efficient configuration, intuitive operation, and storage and optimization technology combine with new systemization options. Because the system supports both analog and IP cameras, customers preserve previous investments as they move to IP recording. It is capable of recording up to 20 cameras at a combined 600 or 500 images per second. It has been redesigned for more efficient administration and configuration and intuitive operation through streamlined menus, using a USB keyboard and a mouse.
