Bosch Security Systems, Inc., of Fairport, New York, has added a new recorder to its Divar family of Digital Versatile Recorders. The new Divar XF recorder provides real-time viewing, recording, and playback in full 4CIF resolution. 


Bosch Security Systems, Inc., of Fairport, New York, has added a new recorder to its Divar family of Digital Versatile Recorders. The new Divar XF recorder provides real-time viewing, recording, and playback in full 4CIF resolution. It also offers synchronous audio support on every channel. The recorder incorporates H.264 compression technology for outstanding, high-resolution images that require less storage space. The unit has four hard-disk drives that are accessible from the front for easy servicing and upgrading to larger-capacity drives. Video can also be archived to USB flash drives. Image authentication allows video to be used as evidence in legal proceedings. The system includes Divar SF Control Center software for complete remote management. Using the Bosch Video Management System, customers can integrate the recorder into any Bosch IP network surveillance system for control over an entire network including cameras and storage devices.
