Web sites unknowingly harbor malware, but SpyBye can help Web masters out them.

A growing number of legitimate Web sites are unknowingly hosting malware that can infect visitors. SpyBye [1]can help Web masters determine whether their site is hosting such browser exploits.

The site can be configured as a proxy server or it can be downloaded and run as a utility. As you click around your Web site, a report is provided on each activated URL. If some of the URLs don’t look like they belong, they could be harboring malicious content. The site also submits URLs through a rule-based engine that includes a list of known malicious sites. The site also contains reports that place each URL into one of three categories: unknown, harmless, or dangerous.
