Bosch Security Systems, Inc., of Fairport, New York, has introduced the latest version of its Intelligent Video Analysis software. IVA 3.5 builds on the company’s Intelligent Video Motion Detection with enhanced video content analysis capabilities, including color filtering that allows object color or color combinations to be set as a detection criteria. That can be used to detect a specific color or vehicle or other object of interest. The software includes new filters, such as line crossing, object trajectory, aspect ratio, and condition-change detection. Triggers can be set to transmit alerts if objects cross a predefined line or follow a specific route, or if running, crouching, or falling is detected. An optional license enables users to use the forensic search capabilities, scanning through recorded content-analysis information that is stored with the video images. Searches can be completed in seconds compared to the days or weeks required for manual scans.
